For comparison, at the time of The Hobbit, Thorin is one hundred ninety-five, Fili is eighty-two and Kili is seventy-seven. In Peter Jackson's films, Thorin begins his quest with his sword, axe, and oak-branch shield. Enjoy! Gimli remarks that that was a kingly gift, and Gandalf responds that the shirt was worth more than the whole of the Shire, something he never told Bilbo.
